Our strength lies in removing the cause of the problems with bad power factor correction, harmonics, high fault level risks, in efficient use of kVA maximum demand, instead of providing a cure with expensive equipment immediately.

Less is more.

We are constantly looking for better and alternative equipment and energy solutions requiring much less energy to achieve much more and have done this many times. Many times the problem was ignorance or untested and old  assumptions.

Electrical energy management needs to be addressed at short term, medium term and long term goal levels, with constantly better management, the one goal that flows through all of them. Poor management is very expensive and does not leave behind a good legacy.

Ongoing task.

We just love it when our clients takes the lead and becomes  a world class installation after our audits and involvement with them and start to implement strategic management principles, better knowledge, challenging the status quo of old technology and old habits alike and have achieved huge savings short, medium and long term.

Many times we solved problems by simply removing or replacing the very thing that caused the problem, be it equipment, a wrong assumption about electricity billing, whatever.

How efficient and effective is energy management in companies in South Africa?

The efficient electrical energy management discipline in companies is probably less than 25% effective and is open for great rewards, incentives, merit measurements and research.

We have not even started to go there aggressively, a much greater hunger for excellence in this discipline can be created with huge rewards in industry and commerce.

It seems electricity is still not expensive enough to demand excellence in management from managers on all levels.
